The department of Management of Tilburg University is inviting excellent and highly motivated bachelor and masters graduates to apply to the department's Research Master (RM) and PhD program.

The department of Management is part of the School of Economics and Management at Tilburg University (TiSEM). The department faculty members work primarily in the research areas of strategy, organization theory, entrepreneurship, innovation, and international business, from a variety of theoretical and empirical methodological perspectives. The department members are drawn from leading universities in North America, Asia and Europe and have a very strong research orientation with a focus on high-quality publications. The working language of the department and TiSEM is English. Further information about the Management department is available at https://www.tilburguniversity.edu/about/schools/economics-and-management/organization/departments/management.htm.

Tilburg University is one of Europe's leading universities in the fields of economics and management – it regularly ranks among Europe's top 3 by research productivity. Tilburg is a pleasant city located in the Southern Netherlands, within one of Europe's foremost high-tech regions and equidistant from Amsterdam (Netherlands), Brussels (Belgium) and the Dusseldorf/Cologne area (Germany).

The RM/PhD program consists of two phases: the two years RM, which is equivalent to the course stage in US universities' PhD programs, consists of taking courses, developing analytical, methodological skills, and writing a thesis; and three years PhD phase in which the students work on their research project. The RM/PhD students are taught by the department's leading researchers in small, highly interactive context taking a variety of content and method courses aimed at providing them with the necessary skills and knowledge for conducting high level research. Through the attendance of departmental seminars, participation in departmental events and close interaction and mentoring by faculty members, the students are encouraged to integrate into the department.

Our graduates have obtained academic positions in leading US, European, and Asian universities (e.g., Texas A&M, Singapore Management University) as well as consulting, and non-academic research jobs.

Detailed information is available, and applications are done through TiSEM's CentER graduate school web site:http://www.tilburguniversity.edu/research/institutes-and-research-groups/center/graduate-school/prospective-students/

Note that the application deadline for the 2015-16 academic year is February 1st 2016.
