    Job Summary: The School of Management at Bucknell University seeks a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor qualified to teach a range of courses and to successfully develop a meaningful program of scholarship beginning in fall 2010. Bucknell University embraces the teacher-scholar ideal; therefore, candidates should be dedicated to excellence in teaching and scholarship and desire to make an intellectual contribution in both arenas. In keeping with Bucknell's liberal arts tradition, the School of Management supports both traditional scholarship and creative scholarship that transcends traditional disciplinary boundaries. The teaching load for this position is five course sections per academic year. We seek candidates who want to work in an interdisciplinary environment, collaborate with faculty ranging from the arts to engineering, develop innovative learning experiences, support our students through the mentoring/advising process, and serve the Bucknell University community.     Minimum Requirements: The successful candidate will be qualified to teach a course in marketing principles and upper-division undergraduate courses in a newly developing interdisciplinary program that integrates the areas of marketing, innovation, and design. A record of excellence in undergraduate teaching and demonstrated research competency are required. Qualified candidates will have completed or be near completion of the terminal degree in their field; candidates with post-terminal degree, full-time teaching experience may be granted up to three years of credit towards tenure.

    Preferred Qualifications: Full-time relevant experience is desirable.
