Business Policy and Strategy
Position: A tenure-track position as Assistant/Associate Professor of Management is available for August 2008.
Primary teaching responsibility: Business Policy and Strategy. We particularly solicit applicants who seek a balance of teaching/research responsibilities. The Department encourages applications from minority persons, women, persons with disabilities, and veterans.
Required: Ph.D./D.B.A. in Business Management or Business Policy from a nationally recognized university. ABDs will be considered with evidence of completion of degree by August 1, 2008.
Minimum Qualifications: Record of excellence in teaching; demonstrated ability to produce publishable research in business-related journals; demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; significant business experience preferred
Salary: Competitive based on qualifications.

General: The University of Northern Iowa (UNI), with 12,500 students and 650 full-time faculty members, is one of three state-supported universities in Iowa. The College of Business Administration (CBA) is AACSB-accredited and offers an MBA and Bachelor of Arts degrees in five departments. The CBA has 60 full-time faculty members and enrolls 2,700 undergraduate majors and 100 graduate students. The College occupies a contemporary office building housing an Information Systems Research Lab and three computer classrooms/labs. All classrooms are equipped with multi-media technology. The College offers an array of economic development, entrepreneurial and managerial/executive education programs through its division of Business and Community Services.
