    --Dear Colleagues,

The Center for Positive Organizations (CPO) at the University of
Michigan's Ross School of Business is pleased to announce that it is
seeking to hire a qualified Postdoctoral Fellow for a period of two
years. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be a part of CPO but will also
have an opportunity to interact extensively with the Management and
Organizations Area during this two-year term. There are no teaching
responsibilities. The primary responsibilities will involve helping
boost the research environment at CPO. It is a wonderful opportunity
to spend two years working primarily on research and engaging with and
contributing to a vibrant Center and collegial Management and
Organization's (MO) Area at Michigan Ross.

All applicants should have a Ph.D. in organizational behavior or
related field such as psychology by August, 2015. The position will
likely be especially attractive for individuals who have a background
in organizational behavior or management or a psychologist (e.g.,
social, I/O, positive) with organizational interests who would like to
    transition to a business school.

The Center for Positive Organizations is a leading hub of research
taking a positive lens to study organizational phenomena. Scholars in
the Center study a wide variety of topics (e.g., leadership, thriving,
    meaning, relationships, identity, negotiations, ethics/morality,
values, virtues, etc.) using different methodologies. To read more
about core faculty associated with CPO go to
http://positiveorgs.bus.umich.edu/people/. In addition, if you would
like to read more about the MO Area and faculty go to
    http://michiganross.umich.edu/faculty-research/areas-of-study/management-organizations.

Applicants should submit (1) a cover letter, (2) research statement
describing their research interests, accomplishments, and fit with the
Center, (3) a C.V., and (4) three letters of recommendation. All
materials and inquiries should be sent to CPOpostdoc@umich.edu. Please
tell your letter of recommendation writers to include your name in the
subject line of the email. Materials should be submitted by March 3,
2015 in order to receive full consideration.

The University of Michigan conducts background checks on all job
candidates upon acceptance of a contingent offer and may use a third
party administrator to conduct background checks. Background checks
will be performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
The University of Michigan is an equal opportunity/affirmative action
    employer.
