Junior Professorship in Management with a Focus on Organizational Theory
The successful applicant will be required to conduct research and teach in the area named above.
Appointment requirements are governed by article 102a of the Berlin Higher Education Act (Berliner Hochschulgesetz). The appointee will have an outstanding track record of organizational research and teaching, preferably with an internationally and social-science-oriented component. Applicants are expected to have experience with empirical approaches to organizational theory as well as sponsored research.
The successful candidate will be required to teach basic courses in business administration as well as the abovementioned area of specialization. She or he is expected to become actively involved within the Department's bachelor's, master's and Ph.D. programs as well as the Pfadkolleg Research Center, and to be capable of teaching courses in English.
The junior professor will be appointed as a civil servant for an initial duration of three years. Provided that her or his performance is thereafter evaluated positively, employment may be extended for three more years.
