    Reporting to the Provost, the Dean will lead the Faculty through the next phase of its evolution. The new Dean will bring a track record of outstanding and inclusive leadership, with demonstrated excellence in all aspects of scholarship, teaching, and research. A gifted communicator, the new Dean will inspire members of this accomplished Faculty, and will enhance collaboration across academic units. He/she will have significant experience as an administrator and a talent for fundraising and development. The new Dean, ideally, will be able to function in, or be willing to develop the skills to function in, both of Canada’s official languages. The language of instruction and work life at McGill is English.
