    Full-time, Tenure-Track, Assistant Professor in Organizational Studies

    The Organization Studies Department at the Carroll School of Management at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Boston</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">College</st1:placetype></st1:place> invites applications from qualified individuals for a full time tenure track Assistant Professor Position in Organization Studies to begin September, 2010.  Candidates must have completed a PhD in Organization Studies or a related field or expect to complete their PhD by August, 2010 at the latest.  They must show the potential to publish in top scholarly journals and demonstrate excellence in teaching.

     

    The Organization Studies Department is a vibrant intellectual community that currently includes 10 full time faculty members, <st1:personname w:st="on">Jean Bartunek</st1:personname>, Judith Clair, Mary Ann Glynn, Brad Googins, Judith Gordon, Spencer Harrison, Candace Jones, Richard Nielsen, Michael Pratt, and William Stevenson. The department offers a PhD program as well as MBA and undergraduate concentrations and is affiliated with several independent centers at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Boston</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">College</st1:placetype></st1:place>.  These include the <st1:placename w:st="on">Winston</st1:placename> <st1:placename w:st="on">Center</st1:placename> for Leadership and Ethics, the Center for Corporate Citizenship, the Center for Work and Family, and the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Sloan</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">Center</st1:placetype></st1:place> on Work & Aging.

     

    <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Boston</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">College</st1:placetype></st1:place> is a private Jesuit university with an enrollment of 9,060 full-time undergraduate students representing 50 states and 58 countries.
