Dear all,
A quick message to let you know that you will receive very soon an email
from OMT that is plain spam. In spite of the fact that it was sent from
a registered user, the message was spam and should have been blocked by
the moderation system.
A little bit of background: behind OMT and the other AOM listervers,
there is a group of moderators whose role is to ensure that no spam gets
through, and that all messages are consistent with the values of OMT and
AOM. As you may imagine, OMT is not free from spam, and this is dealt
with in two ways: a "honeypot" email that catches spam, and the trained
and vigilant eye of the moderators in case something escapes the algorithm.
Well, a few minutes ago an email escaped the algorithm, and also my eye,
and consequently it will show up on your mailbox. This email is to tell
you that it was a human error, that everything is under control, that
your email has not and will not be distributed to anyone outside the AOM
community, and also that I will do my best not to let another one pass
again.
Thank Heavens the message was about a databases or things like that and
not the ones that discuss how to increase parts of your anatomy while
decreasing your bank account or how to fool everybody but yourself by
buying cheap replica watches.
