We are seeking your collaboration to encourage applications to the OMT Division Junior Faculty Consortium (JFC). The JFC helps assistant professors (or their equivalent) with different aspects of their professional development, creating an opportunity for interacting with reputed senior OMT faculty who volunteer as mentors to help junior colleagues with the challenges of their career. The OMT JFC focuses on strategies for impact as a scholar and teacher, as well as on building a career in diverse professional settings.

The JFC will take place just prior to the Academy of Management meetings in San Antonio, Texas. It will start with an informal dinner/mixer on Thursday August 11th to continue on Friday August 12th from 8:00 AM to 5:00 pm. On Friday August 12th from 3:00-5:00 PM we will held the Teaching Roundtables, where participants will have the chance to talk with exemplary scholars-teachers in small groups about specific courses and techniques for high impact teaching. More information on the OMT Junior Faculty Consortium can be found in the OMT website: http://omtweb.org/early-career-JFCs/junior-faculty-consortium

If you know colleagues who might benefit from participating in the Consortium, please forward this email and encourage them to apply no later than June 15, 2011 by sending a nomination letter (or self-nomination) that includes the following:
