LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome invites applications for Junior Faculty
(Assistant Professor)
positions in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Management of Innovation and
Organization Theory.
LUISS (Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali) is a non State
owned Italian University located
near Rome’s beautiful historic centre. The University has three Faculties:
Economics, Law and Political
Science, plus a Business School. It offers a variety of programs in Italian
and an increasing number of
courses in English which makes it accessible to students from all over the
world. Thanks to its affiliation
with “Confindustria” (Italian Industrialists’ Confederation) it has close
ties with the country’s industrial
concerns, most of which operate internationally as well. Thus it has played
a key role in Italy’s economic
and cultural development since its foundation over 30 years ago.
LUISS Guido Carli is strongly pursuing the important goal of
internationalization by hiring new faculty
members from the International job market to increase the number of Graduate
and Undergraduate
programs taught in English and favor the enrollment of foreign students.
Requirements
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in the relevant field from a prestigious
University and be able to teach
the relevant subjects at both Undergraduate and Graduate levels. The
appointee is also expected to be
committed to high-quality scholarly research, submit grant proposals and
publish in top-tier Academic
journals.
The teaching load is two courses per year. Knowledge of Italian is not
required for these positions.
