Professor of Practice in Management at Texas Tech University
Texas Tech University seeks candidates for a Professor of Practice (open rank) in Management at the Rawls College of Business in the Area of Management, beginning Spring 2016 or Fall 2016. Salary is competitive with a full benefits package. The individual's primary teaching assignments throughout the year will be 6 undergraduate and/or graduate courses (typically 3 per Fall and Spring semesters) focusing on organizational behavior and human resource management. Candidates should be experienced classroom instructors with significant educational or practical background in general management, human resource management, leadership, or related areas. Service duties to the Area, College, and university are expected, and include program-building, working with student organizations, and commitment to extra-curricular activities, such as helping develop contacts with the business community for the purpose of providing students internship opportunities and faculty access to research. Qualified applicants must have a doctorate in management or a related discipline. Professor of Practice faculty shall maintain currency as academically qualified under the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International standards.
