    To his indescribable dismay, a colleague here learned this week that students can easily obtain copies of textbook test banks from sites like this:  http://pdfcast.org/pdf/cheap-test-banks-for-mcgrawhill.  I've never been a test bank user.  But if you (or your colleagues) are, this is a potential game-changer.  Thought you might want to know.

    I'm using Connect for McGraw Hill's Understanding Business text this semester. The quiz questions are badly proofed and some have incorrect answers given. These problems seem to persist even after McGraw Hill said they were employing another company to "audit" the content.  And, the Connect platform has some pretty basic functionality issues.

    I have problems using the test banks because so many answers are either wrong or ambiguous.  I have to go through each question to be sure, and I still miss a few each semester.  I prefer essay exams for most classes, and only use quizzes to make sure the students read the chapters before class (guess that's sneaky but ...)
