    Dear Colleagues,

Erin Buttars, CEO of Book Educator (erin@bookeducator.com), has asked me to
send an email to see if anyone is interested in authoring an introductory to
Operations textbook. Book Educator (www.BookEducator.com) would be willing
to partner with anyone who is currently writing a textbook, anyone who is
willing to write a book within the next year, or someone who has an older
book that they would be willing to significantly revise for current use. It
is critical that the book be well-written and that the text incorporates the
latest theory both from the Academy and Industry. By partnering with Book
Educator authors receive a 25% royalty rate (compared with the traditional
    5% - 15%).

Book Educator's publishing model is somewhat new as they use the latest
technology to bring the textbook to the student through computers, I-phones,
tablets - basically any electronic devise. Instructors who adopt the
textbook can choose from two options: 1) Allow students access to the book
for free, or 2) Require students to buy a $20 per-student upgrade service
that allows for automatic grading, highlighting features, and a number of
other enhancements. In addition to royalties from the upgrade service,
authors also receive royalties from content specific advertisements.

Book Educator recently released it's first book and had adoptions in the
United States, Canada, Greece, Israel, Spain, Germany, and Brazil. You can
see this free, online Introductory to Organizational Behavior textbook at
    www.IntroToOB.com

    Thank you,
