2024 Strategy Science Conference (June 7-8, 2024) &
Strategy Science Doctoral Workshop (June 6, 2024)

We are pleased to announce the seventh annual Strategy Science Conference.  The conference will be hosted by the Ross School of  Business at the University of Michigan and co-sponsored by the journal Strategy Science.

Strategy Science, an INFORMS journal, has established itself as an important voice in the strategy field, providing an outlet for innovative strategy research tackling central questions in the field.  In that spirit, the conference will provide an opportunity for a limited number of strategy researchers to share their work with in-depth discussions both in the context of the formal paper presentations and panel discussions.  The conference aims to attract a diverse set of work addressing key issues in the strategy field.  Papers not currently under journal review, which could be potential submissions to Strategy Science, are particularly welcome.

While the primary focus of the conference will be on high-quality research contributions across all fields of strategy, we will offer one or more "showcase" sessions.  For these sessions, we are particularly interested in research on the link between AI and firm strategy.  To what extent can AI change how firms strategize, organize, and compete?  In what ways do these new technologies cause us to re-evaluate existing strategy theory?  We welcome submissions that address these and related questions.

The deadline for submissions to the Conference and the Doctoral Workshop is March 1, 2024.
