If the school year is ending, that can only mean that prep for the insanity that is the annual AOM meeting is heating up. Please be sure that Academy of Management Perspectives events are on your list of what to do when in Philadelphia! Consider attending the following:
On Saturday, August 1st, from 2-3:30pm in 104B of the Convention Center, we will hold a session on Writing for AMP: Mattering to Managers. I'll give a presentation that explains AMP's mission and formats and then field questions.
On Monday, August 3rd, from 1-2pm in 104A of the Convention Center, we will host an open conversation with the editorial team of AMP. It's an informal session.
On Friday, July 31st, from 10-11am, in 106A of the Convention Center, we will hold a special issue workshop with guest editors of our two open special issues, to answer any questions from prospective authors:

And more exciting news: Just in time for the annual meeting, we will publish the August issue of AMP, which will be the first full issue developed during our editorial term. I'll soon post an editorial that overviews the content and clarifies the full range of formats we now have at AMP -- please look for it to be posted to our in-press section in the coming weeks. The remainder of the content of that issue is already posted to our in-press section, as follows:
