    Join us for the Presenter Symposium "The Role of Values in Social Evaluation" at the 2025 Academy of Management Meeting in Copenhagen.

    In this symposium, four presenters will reveal diverse ways various audiences utilize values in social evaluation across different spatial contexts and historical periods:

     

    • Embedding Products with Meaning: Social and Artistic Value Infusion in Cultural Industries. Presented by Bryn Choi.
    • I Want You to Want Me: Managing Value Misalignments in Social Evaluations. Presented by Tim Pollock.
    • Evaluating Cultural Producers Values: Audiences' Authenticity Judgements. Presented by Candace Jones.
    • Going into Overdrive? Structural Positions and Prosocial Behavior of Reviewers in Online Communities. Presented by Yeaji Kim.

     

    Don Lange (Arizona State University), a leading scholar in research on values, will act as the discussant.
