We invite you to participate in an AOM PDW "Narrative & Evidence: Situating Research in Prior Literature to Establish a Coherent Contribution" featuring ASQ editors and authors on Aug 6 2022 from 10:00AM to 11:30AM PT (UTC-7) in a hybrid format (in person + online) at the Seattle Convention Center (SCC) Tahoma 5 and at https://2022.aom.org/meetings/virtual/WEzmwayXAz3Xf43bh
The goal of this PDW is to discuss how to establish a contribution by distinguishing argument and evidence from prior work. We bring three ASQ editors to share their thoughts with the audience:
- Christine Beckman (Editor-in-Chief, Administrative Science Quarterly)
- Chris Rider (Associate Editor, Administrative Science Quarterly)
- Greta Hsu (Associate Editor, Administrative Science Quarterly)
We also feature authors of ASQ exemplar papers with different methods who will directly address how they constructed their narratives, blending theory and evidence into compelling contributions:
If you have any additional questions, please contact Amy Zhao-Ding at amy.zhaoding@tum.de. We hope you can join us and look forward to your participation!
Best regards from the PDW organizers,
Chris Rider & Amy Zhao-Ding
