    WHY JOIN US?

The Annual Social Entrepreneurship Conference brings together scholars, researchers, students and practitioners from around the world to discuss emerging concepts and explore topics in social entrepreneurship, social enterprise, social innovation, sustainability and impact. The conference, the largest academic gathering of its kind in terms of research paper submissions, is dedicated to the ongoing development of theory and research on social entrepreneurship and its impact on global communities.

An innovation again this year, we will welcome proposals for panel sessions during the conference. A panel session consists of a conversation between 3-5 panelists with different perspectives to exchange views on a relevant and current topic, often with one of the panelists serving as facilitator of the discussion and session chair. Audience members can be involved in the discussion as well. A panel session should not be a collection of individual paper presentations.

CONFIRMED KEYNOTES: Rachida Justo (IE Business School), Kai Hockerts (Copenhagen Business School) and Johanna Mair (Hertie School of Governance & Stanford University)

CONFIRMED "20th ANNIVERSARY PANEL" SPEAKERS: Helen Haugh (University of Cambridge), Lisa Hehenberger (ESADE), Anne-Claire Pache (ESSEC) (tentative), Tyler Wry (Wharton)

ABSTRACT / PANEL / PAPER SUBMISSION AND REVIEW PROCESS:

Authors who wish to present their papers or lead a panel at the conference should submit electronically a three-page abstract + references (double-spaced, times new roman font, size 12) by Thursday February 1, 2024 to this address: 20annualSEconf@gmail.com

Abstracts will be selected and authors will be notified and invited by February 15, 2024. A full paper will be due on March 22, 2024.

We hope to see you in April in Lausanne for our 20th Annual!

    Best,

    Sophie Bacq and Jill Kickul
