CALL FOR PAPERS
AMCIS 2025, Montreal, Canada, August 14-16, 2025
Minitrack: Geospatial AI in Systems Analysis and Design
Track: Envisioning and Designing New Digital Products and Emerging Capabilities
TRACK DESCRIPTION
The "Geospatial AI in Systems Analysis and Design" mini-track provides an innovative platform to explore the intersection of geospatial intelligence and systems analysis methodologies for designing adaptive digital products and fostering innovative business capabilities.
With the ever-growing demand for location-based insights, this mini-track seeks contributions that highlight how GeoAI (Geospatial Artificial Intelligence) can enhance decision-making, support intelligent product design, and enable seamless spatial data integration into business systems.
Bridging academic research and real-world applications, the mini-track uncovers fresh opportunities for businesses to harness GeoAI and drive digital transformation by creating responsive, intelligent products that capitalize on the power of location intelligence for emerging market needs.
SUGGESTED TOPICS
Possible topics for submissions include but are not limited to:
- Leveraging Systems Analysis and Design (SAND) approaches, such as UML and BPMN, to create GeoAI-powered products.
- Designing adaptive digital products using GeoAI to address geographic and contextual challenges.
- Application of spatial analytics in intelligent systems design and decision support.
- Integration of geospatial data into legacy systems: overcoming technical barriers.
- Real-time geospatial data processing and its implications for business intelligence.
- Ethical and privacy considerations in location-based data usage for product development.
- Case studies showcasing successful business innovations driven by GeoAI.
- The role of GeoAI in enhancing supply chain transparency and customer engagement.
- Exploring the impact of geospatial intelligence in sustainable digital transformation strategies.
We encourage both theoretical contributions and case-based research that demonstrate the practical application of GeoAI in creating value for businesses.
