We are pleased to invite submissions for an Early Career Workshop on the Sociology of Work and Wellbeing: a one-day paper development workshop funded by the British Sociological Association.
The workshop will bring together early career researchers to explore how sociological perspectives on work and wellbeing can be developed and revitalised. It will include opportunities for feedback, networking, and a meet-the-editors session (with editors from Sociology, Work, Employment and Society, and British Journal of Industrial Relations).
The event will take place at Harris Manchester College, University of Oxford, on 18 September 2026.
We invite presentations and the submission of extended abstracts. Submission deadline is 18 June 2026.
We warmly encourage submissions from those working on any aspect of the sociology of work and wellbeing, broadly defined. Further details, including submission guidelines and Call for Papers, are available here:
