KGI is seeking applicants for a junior faculty position in management. The successful applicant will teach MBA-level management classes and maintain an active program of research. The primary teaching responsibility will be in the Master of Business and Science degree, working alongside other business faculty teaching in the MBS program.
The youngest of the Claremont Colleges, KGI was founded in 1997 as the first higher education institution in the United States dedicated exclusively to education and research related to the applied life sciences. The appointment is for the Henry E. Riggs School of Applied Life Sciences, a professional school that prepares students for careers in business, engineering, regulatory and science with biomedical companies in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical equipment, healthcare or other life science industries.
The candidate should have a relevant earned Ph.D. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in teaching and research relevant to biomedical or other high-technology industries, and understanding of the unique regulatory and economic constraints of the biomedical sector.
