If you are interested in ideology in any way, shape, or form, you are welcome to join the Ideology and Organizations Field Development Workshop to be held at EMLyon Business School on May 21-22, 2026. A Field Development Workshop brings together institutional guardians to actively shape their respective field. As a community, we will discuss the state of ideology research, including adjacent constructs, and where we would like it to go. We will accomplish this by bringing together leading scholars within and outside of management as well as early career researchers to share knowledge about new methods, empirical settings, theoretical developments, and more.

Scholars who wish to join should submit a personal essay explaining their understanding of the current state of ideology research and why they wish to shape this discussion. Please write no more than eight pages, excluding references, and submit this by February 1, 2026 to robertson@em-lyon.com. Decisions will be made by February 14, 2026.
