Last call for submissions to the Industry Studies Association (ISA) conference at Oxford, September 3-5, 2026!

The Industry Studies Association conference unites a wide variety of leading scholars across business school disciplines and beyond, and focuses on research with implications for public policy or which investigates specific industries. A particular aim of the first ISA international conference is to bring together leading European and US scholars, and we'd be delighted to count you among the European participants.

All you would need to attend is a 250-word abstract (no full paper requirement) and the deadline is April 24, 2026 (should you need more time, let us know).

The conference includes a gala conference dinner at Balliol College, one of Oxford's oldest colleges. ISA is an offshoot of the highly influential Sloan Foundation Industry Studies program. The program funded such important research streams as the Wharton Banking Studies, California (Berkeley) semiconductor studies, and the MIT International Motor Vehicle Program, which resulted in the book 'The Machine that Changed the World.'

As the track chair for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, I am happy to answer any questions you may have. I, along with the ISA community, would be excited to welcome you to Oxford!

    Best,
