    Are you a Doctoral Student interested in Innovation and New Product/Service Development?
     
    The deadline for the 2026 Doctoral Dissertation Proposal Competition by the PDMA - Product Development and Management Association is fast approaching.

    The aim of the competition is to support doctoral students in developing original and impactful research on innovation and new product/service development. The top three dissertation proposals will be awarded a cash prize and travel grants to present their work at the JPIM Research Forum in Atlanta, GA (10-11 October 2026).

    From all eligible applications, three winners will be selected. Winners of the competition will receive the following:

    • First place: $3,000 cash prize
    • Second place: $2,000 cash prize
    • Third place: $1,000 cash prize
    • In addition to cash prizes, the winners will also receive:
      1. An additional $500 towards travelling costs to attend the 2026 JPIM Research Forum in Atlanta, GA, U.S.A (October 10 – 11, 2026)
      2. Free registration to the 2026 JPIM Research Forum
      3. A 1-year membership to the PDMA, which includes subscription to the Journal of Product Innovation Management (JPIM)

    All winners are required to present their dissertation research at the 2026 JPIM Research Forum in Atlanta, GA.


    To be considered, all application materials must be received by June 19th, 2026, 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time.
