If your research touches on how organizations define, enact, or pivot their purpose-and what this means for organizational and field-level dynamics-we invite you to submit to our upcoming AOM 2026 PDW "Organizational Purpose and Repurposing: Imagining and Transforming Organizations, Markets, and Fields"
This PDW is organized in two parts. In the first part, open to everybody, three panelists (Violina Rindova, Alicia DeSantola, and J. Cameron Verhaal) will showcase cutting edge research presentations on the topic of the PDW. In the second part of the PDW, selected PhD students and early career scholars will have the possibility to engage in roundtable discussions with the panelists, where they will receive thoughtful, personalized feedback on their work.
If you want to be part of the roundtable discussions and get feedback on your work, please send an extended abstract, of maximum 7 pages (excluding references/tables/figures), via email to Luca Manelli at luca.manelli1@outlook.com. The subject line should be "Purpose PDW - AoM 2026". The deadline for sending the extended abstracts is June 15th, 2026.
