    ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Sunday, Aug 2 2026 8:00AM - 11:30AM ET at Loews in Congress A

As generative AI becomes embedded in work and social life, the prompts people exchange with AI offer a new empirical window into organizations. This PDW explores how these prompts can serve as:

๐˜‹๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ข: trace records of cognitive work, skill formation, and technology adoption
๐˜”๐˜ฆ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฅ: experimental treatments, confederates, and measurement instruments
๐˜—๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ: a force reshaping how people coordinate, decide, and learn at work

The session is organized around three themes, each with presentations and a keynote reflection:

๐ŸชŸ A Window into Cognition and Social Behavior
Presenters: Douglas Guilbeault (Stanford) ยท Aakriti Kumar (Northwestern)
    Keynote: Sameer Srivastava (UC Berkeley)

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Prompts as Data and Method
Presenters: Hancheng Cao (Emory) ยท Hang Jiang (Northeastern) ยท Diego Gomez-Zara (Notre Dame)
    Keynote: James Evans (U Chicago)

๐Ÿ’ผ A Window into Work and Organizations
Presenters: Zilin M. (HBS) ยท Simon Friis (HBS)
