This PDW offers a fresh take on academic skill-sharing, inspired by the Queer Eye series. The workshop features early-career scholars from the LGBTQ+ community who share their experiences to provide professional development skills related to navigating academic life, including teaching, research, voice, care, and collegiality.
Topics include:

· Beyond Boxes: How to Craft Your Research Identity – Micah Rajunov
· Flipping the Script: How to Foster Transformative Classrooms – Jonas Friedrich
· Perfect Pitch: How to Speak Up in Academia – Vinicius Galante
· Care It Up!: How to Fostering Communities – Anthony Meyers
· Diva Worshiping: How to Recognize Colleagues – Pedro Monteiro
The PDW features short presentations, a panel discussion, and interactive roundtables, where participants will engage directly with the speakers in a supportive setting.
