Postdoctoral Position in Organization Theory/Strategic Management/Entrepreneurship (INSEAD)
The Entrepreneurship Department at INSEAD seeks applications from scholars with expertise in entrepreneurship, strategic management, or organization theory for a postdoctoral position that is available immediately. This is a two-year position, assuming academic achievement and service at a level at or above expectations, with a formal review after the first year. Strong technical skills in programming and empirical analysis are a requirement. The review will begin immediately, and applications will be considered until the position is filled.
The postdoctoral fellow will have a residence at INSEAD's Singapore campus during the period of the fellowship, be provided a stipend and research budget, and will have the opportunity to work closely with Professors Ivana Naumovska, Henrich Greve, Vibha Gaba, as well as other Faculty in the Entrepreneurship Department. The role also involves time dedicated to publishing the candidate's own ongoing research. In addition, the postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to interact with the broader Faculty at INSEAD and participate in all the department and school-wide research initiatives such as the brown bag series, research seminars, and conferences.
Qualifications for the position:
- Applicants must have completed (or be close to completing) a Ph.D. in Management or related social science discipline (e.g., Sociology, Finance).
- Prior work (including but not limited to dissertation) must involve working with large datasets and facility with programming.
- Excellent academic record and work ethic required.
- Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills are required.
- Enthusiasm for research in the areas of organization theory, strategy, and entrepreneurship is required. The ideal candidate will be thinking of this position as a platform to build skills toward taking on a research professorship in the future.
- Strong programming skills in Stata and Python are required.
