Are you studying organizational phenomena from a process perspective?  If so, join us at the PROS symposium in Eretria on the Greek island of Euboea June 26-29. This year's exciting special theme is "Embodying Process" convened by Emily Heaphy, Mark de Rond, Ann Langley, Paula Jarzabkowski and Hari Tsoukas. We are calling for papers that examine all aspects of both participants' and researchers' processes of embodying organizational phenomena. Of course, as always, we also welcome general process-oriented papers that are not focused on the special theme.

True to the PROS spirit of intellectual engagement, we have invited four foundational body scholars from our own and other disciplines to address the conference, including Mark Johnson University of Oregon (a founder of embodied cognition), Rosemarie Garland-Thomson (a founder of disability justice studies), Sabrina Strings (leading scholar of race and fatness), and Dr. Alexandra Michel (groundbreaking body researcher in our own field).

We will also be holding a panel discussion with Tammar B. Zilber, Oana Branzei and Njoke Thomas on methodological issues for studying the body in organizational research.

This is PROS. There will be supportive commentary, stimulating discussions - many around the pool, the BBQ and at the sea - and lots of time to talk about ideas and dream up the future of embodiment and process research in organizational scholarship.

Extended abstracts (1000 words) are due February 3rd. If accepted, full papers due June 9th.

Being held in Eretria on the island of Euboea about 100 km from Athens June 26-29, 2025. (EGOS is July 3-5, is in Athens, so very convenient).
