Are you curious about how emotion shapes strategy, sparks innovation, and drives entrepreneurship? If so, don't miss our PDW at AOM 2026 in Philadelphia - where cutting-edge ideas meet constructive advice on your research!
In Part 1, experts will discuss their experiences studying and publishing on emotion in strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship in leading journals. We will be holding three panels that discuss:
Studying emotion qualitatively - Timo Vuori (Aalto U) & Sally Maitlis (Said Business School, Oxford University)
Studying emotion quantitatively - Mark Healey (University of Manchester) & Melissa Cardon (University of Tennessee)
Studying emotion using video methods - Koen Van den Oever (Tillburg) & Feng Liu (St Mary's)
In Part 2, each panellist will host a roundtable, and provide in-depth, one-to-one feedback on your paper/idea. You will also receive feedback from other members of the roundtable. This part of the PDW will not only allow you to gain valuable feedback, but will also provide an opportunity to develop your scholarly network.
To apply for Part 2, please send one document containing the following information to c.c.golding@henley.ac.uk by Friday 19th June 2026:
1. A cover statement (who you are, institution, role, the one big question you want help with/feedback on, and your preferred roundtable host)
2. An extend abstract on your paper/idea/proposal (max. 2-pages A4)
Successful applicants will be informed by 26th June latest. Priority will be given to doctoral students and ECRs.
