The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia invites applications for a post-doctorate position beginning either in the spring or summer of 2024. Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. in management or sociology or another relevant field within the social sciences by the start date of the appointment. Candidates should also demonstrate potential for strong research in areas related to social evaluations (stigma, status, reputation, etc.), how history and the past impact organizational outcomes, contentious issues in and around organizations, or related topics. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in qualitative research and or natural language processing. The selected candidate will conduct research under the guidance and in collaboration with Prof. Kisha Lashley and potentially other faculty within the McIntire School of Commerce.
