The Department of Management at Drexel University's LeBow College of Business invites applications to our PhD program for the fall term 2023. The application deadline is December 15, 2022.
Our goal is to train outstanding scholars. To that end, our PhD program offers full funding (including stipend, tuition, and benefits) for five years. We also provide a research budget that students can use for their research and professional development such as traveling to conferences. The program boasts close, intimate interactions between faculty and students and among student cohorts, as well as a collegial and supportive environment that is conducive to collaboration and student success.
The PhD Program in the Management Department has two concentration areas: Organization Behavior and Strategy. The Department has many research-active faculty members with interests span different areas of strategic management and organizational behavior, including strategy, organization theory, technology and innovation management, strategic human capital, business ethics, organizational climate, organizational culture, and team dynamics.
Our faculty members have published in top journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Management, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Organization Science, Management Science, Strategy Entrepreneurship Journal, and Strategic Management Journal, among others. They serve as editors, associate editors and editorial board members of leading journals in the field.
Drexel Lebow is located in Philadelphia, USA, which features vibrant city life at a relatively moderate cost. One can easily get around the city without a car, as public transportation has made Philly a very commuter-friendly city.
