Hello, AOM! Our research team, including Elizabeth Campbell (UC San Diego), Gabrielle Adams (University of Virginia), and Peter Belmi (University of Virginia), is studying people's experiences in retention negotiations and firm retention processes. We're currently collecting data on MGMT/OB faculty members' experiences with retention negotiations and outside offers. This study is IRB approved (UVA IRB #6061).

Eligibility: Participants must be 18 or older and must have prior experience with a retention negotiation as a faculty member within the last 8 years at a U.S.-based institution. This includes negotiations that resulted in you staying at the university or leaving. We're interested in hearing about experiences of faculty members from all types of U.S.-based institutions (teaching focused, research focused, & balanced).

Confidentiality: As you can imagine, the sensitivity of this topic makes data collection challenging. We're taking every step to ensure participants' confidentiality and include additional information about this in the consent form (see the first page on the Qualtrics survey linked below). The study will take about 10-20 minutes of your time. Your responses will be anonymized prior to analysis and only analyzed by members of the research team. Participation is voluntary. Compensation for participation $10 Amazon gift card.
