Join us for a Symposium on Relational Perspectives on the Future of Work at the 2025 Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Copenhagen.

How is work changing, and how should we study it? This symposium draws attention to the evolving interactions among people, systems, and objects. Presenters leverage ethnography, interviews, and archival research to examine inflection points before, during, and after changes to the way we work.

    • Is there more to know than just delivering food? Relational knowledge at the intersection of platform workers and algorithmic systems. Co-authors: Stella Kyratzi and Corentin Curchod (University of Edinburgh)

Anca Metiu (ESSEC Business School), whose research has illuminated the relational, material, and temporal dimensions of collaborative work, will serve as discussant.
