    ESMT Berlin invites applications for a faculty position at the level of tenure-track Assistant Professor in the area of Organizational Behavior with a start date in Fall 2023. Candidates from the areas of Organizational Behavior, Organizational Theory, Psychology, Human Resources Management, Negotiation or Sociology will be considered. Faculty members in these areas at ESMT include Matthew Bothner, Gianluca Carnabuci, Linus Dahlander, Konstantin Korotov, Tatiana Lluent, Eric Quintane and Martin Schweinsberg. 

    A doctoral degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field is required prior to joining, but those with “all but dissertation” status will be considered at the application/interviewing stages. Candidates should demonstrate a potential for research excellence, including publications in top tier academic journals, as well as a potential for teaching excellence. The position offers teaching opportunities in Master’s in Management, MBA, PhD, and executive education programs.

    We will conduct a limited number of informal individual meetings at the 2022 AOM Annual Meeting in Seattle, USA, on August 5-9, 2022. These meetings are not a prerequisite for an official application, and non-selection for an AOM meeting will not impact full consideration of an official application. We welcome requests for an informal meeting at AOM until July 25th.
