    Upcoming PDW on Publishing Social Network Research in Top Management Journals

    Please consider joining a PDW on social network analysis/ publishing social network research in top management journals at the upcoming Academy of Management Meeting in Chicago. The session, entitled "Publishing Organizational Network Research: Developing Ideas & Draft Papers for Publication" is hosted by the University of Exeter Centre for Social Networks (ECSN) and the LINKS Center for Social Network Analysis at the University of Kentucky.

    What to expect?

    The workshop will consist of two parts. First, we will host a panel discussion with senior scholars that include members of ECSN and LINKS. Panel members will answer all your questions and share their experiences regarding publishing organizational network research in top management journals.

    Second, you will be allocated to a small group where senior scholars will give you feedback and advice on your research proposal. We will do our best to group participants together based on similar research interests, methods, and preferred senior scholar.

    When & Where?

    The details of the workshop will be announced as soon as the AoM program is finalized.

    What to prepare?

    To make the best out of this workshop, participants are kindly requested to develop and share a research proposal with the workshop organisers. The proposal/paper should be a maximum of 3,000 words (excluding references) and include a list of up to five questions that you would like senior scholars to address regarding your research. We will also solicit questions that you would like to ask the panel of senior scholars regarding publishing organizational network research in top management journals. For example, you may like to ask them about their publishing experiences, strategies, successes, and challenges, targeting journals, data collection advice, etc… We will provide more information about the workshop, including the proposal submission as AoM gets closer.
