The Department of Management in the Carlos Alvarez College of Business at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) invites applicants for two positions: (1) Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Entrepreneurship or Technology Management (with a preference for an Associate or Full Professor), and (2) Assistant or Associate Professor in International Business (with a preference for an Assistant Professor). The Management department in the Carlos Alvarez College of Business is composed of 34 faculty members, including 18 tenured/tenure-track faculty known for their research expertise in the areas of organizational behavior, organizational theory, strategy, entrepreneurship, international business, and health care management. The department has a strong research focus and offers a supportive environment for faculty to publish in the top academic journals in their fields. The department offers undergraduate degrees in management and human resources management, is creating an undergraduate certificate in entrepreneurship, and offers a doctoral degree in management and organization studies.
With about 8,000 students, the Carlos Alvarez College of Business at UTSA is one of the largest business schools in the nation; is AACSB accredited; offers a variety of master's programs as well as Ph.D. programs in six areas; and ranks second in the nation in the number of bachelor's degrees awarded to Hispanics.
