Emory's Goizueta Business School seeks aspiring scholars to join its PhD program in Organization & Management in Fall of 2024.
Organizations are engines of technological and social innovation, foundations for careers, and bases of social diversity. The study of organizations is at the cutting edge of social sciences - a multi-disciplinary endeavor that draws on psychology, sociology, and computational sciences. Our full-time, five-year PhD program in Organization & Management prepares students for academic careers in organization theory / economic sociology ("macro" track) and organizational behavior ("micro" track). Students take courses in research methodology and theory, work closely with faculty advisors, and get financial support for independent research and professional development. We currently have nine PhD students being mentored by six advisors and collaborating with three additional faculty members.
