| TENURE TRACK FACULTY POSITION – SMALL & FAMILY BUSINESS MANAGEMENT Description The Associate/Full Professor opening is a tenure-track position in the area of small and family business management. Eligible applicants must conduct high-quality research that is published in the Department's "A level" journals; effectively teach management courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level; lead efforts on the ASU WEST campus to promote small and family businesses in the West Valley of the Phoenix area; and interact effectively with colleagues to support and enhance our unique department culture, appointment beginning Spring or Fall 2024. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Associate Professor 1) An earned doctorate in Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Organization Theory, or related field; 2) Evidence of actively and regularly publishing in the Department's "A level" journals, with a publication record commensurate with the rank and experience of Associate Professor; 3) Evidence of teaching excellence in one or more areas of management to undergraduate and graduate students; 4) Significant service and contribution to the management profession, commensurate with rank and experience of an Associate Professor; Must meet the college's standards to be Scholarly Academic Qualified under AACSB Accreditation standards. Full Professor 1) An earned doctorate in Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Organization Theory, or related field; 2) Evidence of actively and regularly publishing in the Department's "A level" journals, with a publication record commensurate with the rank and experience of Full Professor; 3) Evidence of teaching excellence in one or more areas of management to undergraduate and graduate students; 4) Significant service and contribution to the management profession, commensurate with rank and experience of a Full Professor; Must meet the college's standards to be Scholarly Academic Qualified under AACSB Accreditation standards. Desired Qualifications: - A record of high impact research.
- Evidence of an active research pipeline.
- A record of high-quality teaching in MBA courses and PhD seminars.
- Evidence of leadership and service in one's own institution and in the profession/field.
- Experience in working with and advising small and family businesses.
- Interest in mentoring PhD students and junior faculty.
