"Music is an important context for management scholars because it's an activity where we can be fully human." - R. Edward Freeman
Come join us for our concert-symposium: we'll be discussing the insights that management/organization theory can draw from music theory at this year's Academy of Management conference in #Philadelphia! We'll open with a short performance from our "band" and then move to the formal symposium.
I'll be co-organizing the event with Skyler Dana Clark-Hamel and Peter Marshall, and we'll be joined by three other fantastic speakers (and performers!): Mary Tripsas, Stine Grodal, and Eric Y. Lee. The discussion will be moderated by our great bandleader, R. Edward Freeman.
We expect the event to be a great time that generates even greater ideas. When Skyler and I hosted the event last year, we had over 120 attendees in the audience. We'd love to see you there!
