Join our AOM Symposium "Network History: Accounting for the Past to Move Network Research to the Future" (11508)

    📅 Sunday, August 2
     9:45 AM–11:15 AM
📍 Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown: Sheraton Liberty Ballroom D

Networks are rarely built from scratch. Past relationships, shared experiences, and critical moments leave lasting imprints on how networks function today. In this symposium, we bring together a distinguished group of international scholars to explore how accounting for network history deepens our understanding of classic constructs like brokerage and tie strength, opens new methodological opportunities for studying how networks evolve over time, and offers fresh insights for how managers and organizations can leverage network history.
