    Join our PDW “All Fun and Games? The Entertainment Industry in Organization Research - Vol II”  at the the Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management in 2026, exploring how the entertainment industry, from books, movies, music to video-games, provides fertile ground for advancing and testing management and organization theory!

    Part 1: Panel Presentations

    Part 2: Roundtable Feedback Session
    Attendance for the second part of the PDW is limited to selected participants. Moderated by the panelists, this interactive session invites selected participants to present their early-stage research or working papers for feedback and discussion.Workshop Overview

    This PDW brings together scholars who study film, music, and gaming to:

    • Highlight opportunities and barriers to research in this field
    • Share insights from using text, image, and audio data
    • Create a vibrant research community around creative industries

    We welcome extended abstracts or working papers from scholars working on the entertainment industry as a research context.
