    For the third year in a row, we are organizing the online OMT Post-Doc Information Session!
     
    This online session seeks to shed light on the opportunities and challenges of being a post-doc. It will be a panel discussion with Q&A, aimed at both PhD candidates considering post-doc positions and current post-docs navigating the transition to the next stage of their career. 
     
     
    Session Date: 10th of June, 2026
    Session Time: 9-10 AM EST | 10-11 AM ART | 3-4 PM CET | 4-5 PM EET | 6:30-7:30 PM IST

    The panelists for the session this year are: 
     

    Grace Tien (Northwestern University, USA)
    Karthik Rapaka (VU Amsterdam, Netherlands)
    M. Dolores Del Rio (Austral University, Argentina)
    Kata Isenring-Szabó (University of Jyväskylä, Finland)
    Charlene Zietsma (University of Michigan, USA)

    And the moderators are:

    Anupama Kondayya, OMT Membership Chair (Year-Round) (IIM Calcutta, India)
    Vontrese Pamphile (The George Washington University, USA)

     
    Together, the panelists reflect various backgrounds and stages of the post-doc journey, and include colleagues from around the world who have just started or completed post-doctoral studies, or have experience working with and guiding postdoctoral researchers.
