Dr. Sana Chiu is Associate Professor of Management & Leadership at the C. T. Bauer College of Business, University of Houston. Her research sits at the intersection of strategic leadership, corporate governance, and sustainability, with a focus on how leaders, boards, and organizations make high-stakes decisions involving stakeholder expectations, ethical concerns, and organizational change.  Her scholarship has appeared in leading journals such as Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Management, Journal of Applied Psychology, Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Management Studies, and her work has received multiple Best Paper honors as well as the Elizabeth D. Rockwell Research Award in Ethics and Leadership.  Beyond research, Dr. Chiu is an active academic leader and mentor. She serves as Associate Editor at Business & Society, is on the editorial board of the Journal of Management, and has held leadership roles in the Academy of Management’s Social Issues in Management Division.
