Purpose and Agenda
The PDW is to provide scholars with opportunities to seek developmental feedback on research in entrepreneurship and innovation from the editorial team of the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal in the spirit of promoting future submissions. Early career researchers are particularly encouraged to apply. We welcome submissions of any relevant topics and methodology designs.
The workshop will include a general presentation and Q&A session, with a focus on publishing in SEJ, such as what makes a successful SEJ paper, and how to address the key challenges that Editors and reviewers see in the review process. It will also include roundtable sessions, where SEJ editors provide developmental feedback on the submitted manuscripts.
Submission Guidelines
To participate, please submit a proposal via https://form.jotform.com/260243656259057 or the QR Code above by March 31st, 2026. In a single PDF file, please include (1) a cover letter with all authors' names, e-mails, and affiliations; and (2) the research proposal (max 10 pages, double-spaced, excluding tables, figures, and references). The research project submitted for consideration must not have been published. Each participant may submit only one proposal. Authors will receive acceptance notifications by April 15th at the latest.
Registration and logistics
A registration link will be sent to the co-authors of the accepted submissions. For planning purposes, registration is required by April 30th, 2026 for at least one author of each accepted submission. Attendance is free. Light catering and dinner will be provided. Participants must handle all travel and accommodation matters and cover all travel and accommodation costs.
