    Ph.D. Program<o:p></o:p>

    Our Ph.D. Program in Management & Leadership is designed to train the next generation of scholars. Both micro and macro areas of management are covered, with students challenged to conduct state-of-the-art research and to develop outstanding teaching skills. An open-door policy creates a collegial atmosphere where ideas and collaboration thrive. Our faculty and doctoral students co-authored in top journals and are actively presenting their research at international and regional conferences. Recent placements include University of Tennessee, City University of Hong Kong, Pennsylvania State University, Georgia State University, and the University of Texas at El Paso, for example. Accepted doctoral students receive competitive year-round stipends and additional funding for presenting papers at national conferences.<o:p></o:p>

    Management Faculty<o:p></o:p>

    Our faculty publishes in top journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, and Journal of International Business Studies. They serve in editorial roles and on editorial boards of the leading journals in their fields. Our faculty includes former and current editors-in-chief of leading journals such as The Leadership Quarterly (Leanne Atwater: 2010-2016) and Academy of Management Discoveries (Chet Miller: Term starting in 2024). Several faculty members serve as Associate Editors of leading journals such as Journal of Management (Enrica Ruggs) and Journal of Business and Psychology (Derek Avery).<o:p></o:p>
