Are you interested in the intersection of careers, occupations, and social change pursuits at work?

If so, please consider submitting your work to our EGOS Sub-theme 58: Pursuing Social Change through Work in Milan 2024. This sub-theme explores how social missions become integrated into careers, the navigation of tensions, and the impact on employment outcomes and career trajectories.

We welcome work that explores questions such as: How do professionals and employees pursue social change? How do people construct their careers to push their organization to address societal issues? How do systems of occupations and careers enable or hinder the accomplishment of social change? How are new occupational groups managing social issues inside organizations (CSOs, CDOs, etc.)? What challenges do they face in their roles, to their expertise, or in their jurisdictions? How do they stay committed to societal work in the face of organizational demands?

We look forward to seeing your work!

    Thank you,
